Visual Paintings around Tower Hamlets and places we like to visit...​

I am a full time carer to my Son and over the past years I have tried to find time to paint but found it too difficult and only being able to at night after bedtime, which usually I have no energy to do anything. After years of fighting to get my Son into a SEN school and EHCP’s and everything involved, my Son has settled into an amazing SEN school which he seems very happy at. This has taken a lot of pressure off my mind (even though I still have my worries) and am now determined to use any spare minute to continue my painting. I have to say the past months I have been loving getting back into it and using oils (which I don’t usually use) and not worrying if some paintings work and others don’t.

​ About my painting project…

​I have begun a small project, painting local places and nature around Tower Hamlets where we live and places we visit, which mean a lot to my children and myself.  My youngest Child is at a specialist school and is very visual, he is really interested seeing me paint scenes he recognises…
