Here is my latest portrait.....
To a creative start to the year!!I am feeling inspired and currently working on a painting which hopefully I will post in a few weeks.....
My husband Mark Paulding, an amazing fine artist, Illustrator and photographer, has artwork hidden all around our flat and I feel it's such a shame they are not seen by anyone else. I will be setting him up a website but it seems such a big project to start, so to begin with I have some snap shots. Please follow these links to see ......
This is the first in a series of exhibitions featuring portraits from the fifty children - fifty artists project and will open today 15 September at Winton Capital, Grove House, 27 Hammersmith Grove, London W6 ONE. The exhibition which includes my portrait of Shahel (pictured below) will be open 10.00 until 14.30 each weekday continuing until 26 September. I hope that you will have the opportunity to visit.
I am honored to be involved in the fifty children fifty artists art project. Each artist is paired with a young sitter who lives in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. I was paired with sixteen year old Shahel, who had won a portrait competition at his school, and had then been selected to become a sitter for the project. Please look below to see my finished portrait of Shahel, and also take a look at the fifty children fifty artists website to see all the other wonderful portraits which have been added so far.
