My painting of my beautiful daughter has been selected to be displayed at the National Portrait Gallery, BP awards from from 24 June - 19 September 2010. It then goes on tour to Lincoln and Aberdeen. I will post more details soon.....

Hello Thea

Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed your portrait 'Lila Pearl'. I went to the NPG yesterday afternoon and selected it as my 'Visitor's Choice'. I then popped back again in the evening to have another look at it. Wonderful.

Mandie and I took Gracie up to see the portrait of Lila Pearl at the NPG. We're very proud. Grace had to stop herself from telling strangers who were admiring it that we not only knew the artist, but we knew Lila too.
I like the way they placed the painting, it emphasises Lila being backed in to the corner. Great to see it there.
