I am so pleased my Self Portrait (Triptych) has been selected for the 'SELF' exhibition at the Mall Galleries. It will be on display from Thu 9 - Fri 24 May 2013.
The new painting and drawing prize SELF, will be shown as a special section of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters annual exhibition.
SELF aims to explore self-representation in painting and drawing. Free from the constraints of commissioned portraiture, the self-portrait does not seek to flatter the sitter, pay a model, play slave to time and is free to explore character and medium; the artist is at liberty to push the boundaries and experiment.
